Refund & Return Policy

Firearms

All firearm sales are final once transferred through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and a completed ATF Form 4473 has been executed.

  • Firearms are not eligible for return or exchange after transfer from the FFL dealer.

  • We will only accept an exchange if the firearm:

    • Has not been transferred to the customer

    • Is unopened, unfired, and unused

    • Includes all original packaging, accessories, and materials in new condition

While the firearm is still in the possession of the FFL dealer, customers are responsible for inspecting the firearm thoroughly before completing the transfer.
If any issues are identified, please contact us prior to taking possession of the firearm.

Once a firearm has been transferred from the FFL to the customer, it is no longer eligible for return or exchange and will be covered under our applicable manufacturer and/or Mitchell Defense warranty.


Optics

  • No returns or exchanges on optics once the packaging has been opened

  • All opened optics are covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty

  • Optics must be unopened, unused, and in original sealed packaging to be eligible for an exchange


Accessories (Slings, Handguards, Non-Serialized Parts)

Accessories are eligible for exchange only under the following conditions:

  • Item must be unopened, unused, and uninstalled

  • Item must be in like-new condition

  • All original packaging, hardware, and accessories must be included

Handguards

  • Handguards that have been installed, test-fit, or modified are not eligible for exchange

  • Handguards must be returned in new, uninstalled condition


Apparel & Merchandise

  • Apparel and merchandise are eligible for exchange only

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in like-new condition

  • Original tags and packaging must be included

  • Clearance or sale apparel items are final sale


Exchanges Only Policy

Mitchell Defense does not offer refunds.
All eligible returns are processed as exchanges only.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • You must notify us within 72 hours of delivery

  • Please retain all packaging materials

  • We will determine eligibility for replacement or exchange on a case-by-case basis

Failure to notify us within this timeframe may void eligibility.


Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Mitchell Defense will cover shipping only in cases where an error occurred on our part


Final Sale Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Firearms after FFL transfer

  • Opened optics

  • Installed or used accessories

  • Custom, modified, or special-order items

  • Clearance or sale items
